Big Charts

Big Charts is a free online charting service with access to all US and Canadian stock listings as well as stocks on the London and Frankfurt exchanges. Their interactive charting allow for many charting options. You may choose from many of the common indicators and chart styles as well as a range of time frames from years to minutes. The charts are 15 minutes delayed for individual stocks while the major US indexes are live.

Here is an example of their charts. This is our favorite setting for monitoring Indexes. Here we see the ETF for the S&P 500, SPY. It is a six month daily chart viewed with candlesticks. Indicators are Bollinger Bands and EMA (3-Line) visible on the chart itself. The smaller charts below the main chart are Slow Stochastics, MACD and Volume. We prefer the Volume+ setting which shows colors for up and down days as well as a moving average line.
